Education
I am a graduate from the University of Southern Indiana with a degree in History (cum Laude). My skill set is considerably broader, however, and I have spent countless hours tutoring many subjects, and and comfortable with many diverse areas.
Experience
I have been tutoring privately for more than 3 years now, with great success. Learning and teaching is something I love doing. When I tutor though, I don't just give out answers. Rather i guide the student into understanding WHY the answer is, rather than WHAT. I work with students of all ages, and have plenty of experience in school classrooms. Most recently I have worked running an after school program at local EVSC schools. Just a couple of other things: I'm a member of Phi Theta Kappa, USI Honors Program, an Eagle Scout, graduated Cum Laude. Just a note: My availability fluctuates because I do hold another job! Hobbies
I'm probably one of the easiest people to get along with. I have a wide variety of hobbies, one of which happens to be helping people solving problems (its how I started tutoring in the first place!). Other than that, though, I like outdoors type activities such as kayaking, rock climbing, camping, and other pastimes such as reading, writing, music, and theater.
