Experience
Give your student one-on-one time with a licensed teacher! I am a certified tutor and tutored at my university throughout my college career. During my fieldwork in college, I worked with many students who needed remediation in reading and writing (mostly students in the 1st - 3rd grades). I am happy to tutor students and help them set reasonable goals for academic achievement. After university, I worked as a teacher in the EVSC for nearly 8 years. I decided to step down from teaching to pursue having a family of my own, and my husband's work allowed me to do so. I am patient and have had lots of experience working with students who have ADD, ADHD, Sensory Integration, and Reading Disorders. I am friendly, approachable, and desire to help my students find a study pace that meets their learning styles and needs.

Hobbies
I am happily married and enjoy the outdoors! I enjoy learning about and meeting new people. I love living my life with my two rescue dogs, Honor and Ruby. My husband and I have been blessed to walk the hard road of infertility and its medical treatments. This is the reason I stepped down from full-time teaching. I love teaching and education, but I needed more flexibility than the full-time demands of the classroom allow. However, as a result, I now have a lot of flexibility to meet with and tutor students.
