In the spring of 2014, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Evansville. The Spanish language fuels my life. I love to speak, hear, read, and teach it to others. Right now, I am in the process of becoming certified to be a healthcare interpreter. Ideally, I will go to work in a hospital setting. For now, I would love to work individually with people who are struggling with, or who would simply like to better develop their Spanish skills.I lived in Costa Rica for a time, and that was an experience that really heightened my proficiency in the Spanish language. It brings me such joy to witness people making mental connections when they are learning new things. Mastering a new language is like entering into a whole new world. There can be a wealth of uncovered opportunity and discovery in learning to communicate with a new and unique group of people. I strive to help others achieve understanding, not merely to repeat words and phrases. My individually customized lessons help ensure student success. I always look forward to seeing where all of my students end up applying their newfound language skills, whether it be in daily conversation or careers.
